Critical Infrastructures Monitoring
ViPSS (CUP B62C18000140007) is a project funded by European Union, Italy and Campania Region, whitin the POR Campania FESR 2014-2020. The project proposes an integrated system for monitoring critical infrastructures, by considering the public transportation system as the main case study. The system detects emergencies and supports their management. It considers all the transport infrastructure, including roads, railways, airways, and waterway, by considering both stations (train or other service stations, airports, harbors) and transportation means (buses, trains, planes, ships).

Goals
ViPSS aims at respoving Security and Safety issues in the transportation domain. It uses an ICT system bsed on the cloud paradigm, providint Monitoring-as-a-Service. An integrated system that enables situation awareness and supports emergency management. ViPSS monitoring system is based on a patented architecture integrating detection technologies, secure and dependable data collection and transmission, mobile device apps, and elaborations systems using AI. This is in line with the priority technological trajectory Integrated systems for situation awareness and operational support for the management of transport infrastructures.

Achieved results
The new operative office of RisLab is already active, as well as the website.
We bought servers.
We achieved the exploitation rights for the virtualized monitoring system architecture.
We realized the first prototaype of the in/out module.
We bought computers.
Servers and computers are configured and reaty to work!
We started with (web and social) marketing.
Concentrator debbuging goes on.
We are analyzing (the attorney, actually) privacy constraints on data and video collection.
